I RECENTLY WENT ON A SHOE BUYING HIATUS FOR A COUPLE OF REASONS. ONE WAS THE FACT THAT I HAVE TO PAY RENT NOW AND BILLS AND FOR FOOD AND SHOES ON TOP OF THAT WOULD DEFINITELY PUT ME IN THE POOR HOUSE AND THE OTHER REASON WAS THAT SOME GIRLS HAVE BEEN SAYING I HAVE AN UNCONTROLABLE OBSESSION SO TO PROVE THEM WRONG I WENT 30 DAYS WITHOUT BUYING ANY KICKS. ON JULY 31, THE HIATUS WAS OVER AND I SPRINTED TO MY COMPUTER TO INVEST THE MONEY I HAD PUT AWAY FOR THIS VERY DAY. I BOUGHT A PAIR OF JORDAN 2s, ONE OF THE ONLY ORINGINAL 23 THAT I LIKE AND DIDNT OWN. THESE WERENT YOUR OG COLORWAY OR ANYTHING JORDAN BRAND HAD DONE BEFORE WHICH MADE ME EVEN MORE ECITED. I PICKED UP ANOTHER PAIR OF HYPERDUNKS ONLY THE NEW ONES ARE LOs, I WANTED TO GET USED TO PLAYING IN THIS NEW STYLE OF SHOE BEFORE I WENT TO OKLAHOMA AND PICKED UP MY KOBE Vs. I ALSO GOT MY NIECE WHAT I HOPED TO BE HER FIRST PAIR OF JORDANS BUT SHE HAD ALREADY BEGAN HER JOURNEY AS A SNEAKERHEAD AND HAD BEEN "J-WALKING" FOR ALMOST A WEEK. THE SHOES WERE SPLIT INTO SEPERATE SHIPMENTS AND HERES WHAT CAME IN LAST WEEK...

LAST WEEK CHIP THE RIPPER CAME TO COLLEGE STATION AND IT WAS INSANE! A FEW OF MY FRIENDS LIKE AMIR AND A GUY NAMED JOSEF PIERRE AND A YOUNG LADY NAMES HELEN ALONG WITH A FEW OTHERS OPENED UP FOR HIM. IT WAS A FESTIVE NIGHT AND ONE OF THE BEST MUSIC EXPERIENCES IVE HAD SINCE IVE BEEN IN COLLEGE STATION. THIS IS A NIGHT I WILL NOT SOON FORGET AND WITH THE AID OF MY VIDEO CAMERA ITS A NIGHT THAT ANYONE WHO WASNT THERE CAN BE A PART OF TOO. Young and Dumb with No Ambition? Not Hardly

I have a real problem with my generation getting labeled as trouble makers or lazy or uninformed and titles alike. I believe it will be our generation that finally get this country away from ignorant practices such as racism that cripples us. This video from a group of teenage music artists talking about some real stuff. They arent your collegiate elite, khaki and button down shirt wearing young men, they some kids from the block with hopes and dreams that wear fresh kicks and skinny jeans (had to throw a little rhyme in). For "older person" that may peep this, next time you see one of us, sit down and chat for a minute, you may be surprised by some of the things we have to say. And for us know-it-all 18-25 year olds; when youre out and about with nothing to do, have a chat with someone thats losing the color in their hair and see what you learn.

Karaoke Mondays

Every Monday a local bar called The Tap has Karaoke Night. This summer I began to make this event a weekly routine since I didnt have school and because it was a time where my two best friends and I could get together and have a good time. Last night was the first night Ive been since summer, and man was it a good night. Made me think it was summer all over again. Ill let the pics tell the story.
